This printing file is A4 format. It can also be printed on letter size paper (Always select “fit to paper” on your printer dialogue box).

We recommend printing directly from the file into a color copy machine (Download the file and send it to your local library for printing). Use ordinary paper.

What you will need:

This is an ADVANCED paper model, you will need PATIENCE and: a medium sized sharp scissor, a hobby knife (with a NEW blade!), a butter knife (smooth, no sharp edge!), white “school” glue and stick glue, a ruler and tweezers.

NOTE: How to hand score paper before folding:

The easiest (and nicest!) way to fold paper, is by scoring the piece to be folded first. You will need a butter knife (not sharp but smooth knife!) and a ruler. Take a ruler and place it on the paper, over the line you would like to score. Using the thinnest part of the knife, press down firmly as you move along the length of the ruler and down the paper. The more pressure you exert, the deeper the score will be. Do this twice. When finished, simply remove the ruler and your paper is ready to be folded.
